New Holland 455 (NH455) Sickle mower Bar Vertical Use

I wanted to show that it is possible to use the NH455 in the vertical position since I could not find any information on using it vertically. Do this at your own risk. This is a dangerous machine regardless, do not go near it when the machine is running. I did cover it with some sheet metal but the way I had it mounted the vibrations tore the screws through the metal. I may still make a piece out of 14 gauge to help the branches slide off. If I had a full day to work on it I could use a hydraulic ram to hold it so I could go from vertical to horizontal on the fly.
Pros: I bought my 455 cheap and it works, beats walking with a chain saw, cuts thousands of branches.
Cons: The branches still stack up, my teeth are bolt on (and I may break a couple), pretty slow forward speed to allow to cut.
